Courtney Muller is Senior Vice President at Reed Exhibitions. Her portfolio includes the gaming events Global Gaming Expo (Las Vegas) and G2E Asia (Macau, China), as well as BookExpoAmerica, the North American book publishing convention co-located with BlogWorld and New Media Expo, the Vision Expo Events, Vision Expo East and Vision Expo West, serving the optical industry; the Interphex events (New York and Puerto Rico) serving the pharmaceutical industry, the Foodservice events (New York, California, Florida), and the Exhibitor Marketing Group. Muller also oversees all of the educational and conference business at Reed Exhibitions North America.

Muller has worked in the trade show and event industry for 20 years, spending 17 of those at Reed Exhibitions. She has also worked for Penton Media as Vice President of the Internet World events and she served as the Executive Director for New York Is Book Country. She has managed a number of trade show 200 events in her 19-year career, including G2E, BookExpoAmerica, The Vision Expos, Interphex NY and The New York Restaurant Show, among others.

Muller has earned numerous accolades and awards in her years in the exhibit industry, including both the President’s Award and the Chairman’s Award at Reed Exhibitions, as well as the People’s Choice award for Valuing Our People. Muller was honored with the Emma Lazarus Award by the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York in 1997. She was also named a “Great Woman of Gaming” in 2005 by Casino Enterprise Management magazine. Muller is a member of the editorial board of Casino Enterprise Management and another industry magazine and a member of the Optical Women’s Association.

In the trade show and events industry, Muller sits on the Executive Education Committee for SISO and is the Chairwoman of the International Special Interest Group for IAEE.

On the community side, Muller takes part in a mentoring program for students from Quinnipiac University and is currently a mentor for a junior at the university. She also serves as a liaison to the New Canaan Historical society on behalf of the class of 2014 for the National Charity League.

Muller has a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
