Candace Lucas joined WMS in 2006 and was named Executive Director, Marketing Operations for WMS Industries Inc. in April 2008. In her current position, Lucas directs all WMS marketing communications and brand development including product positioning, promotions, trade shows, licensing and global advertising efforts.
Under her guidance, WMS developed and implemented a comprehensive player-driven innovation research process and an extensive customer loyalty and net promoter evaluation program. She led the introduction and expansion of the company’s Active Gambler Profile analysis and report, which focuses on changing market conditions and player dynamics. Lucas continues to impress as a rising star in the industry, having recently been named by Casino Enterprise Management as one of the “Great Women of Gaming.”
Previously, Lucas served as Director, Customer and Market Information & Analysis for W.W. Grainger, where she managed a Center of Excellence, responsible for leveraging customer, competitive and economic research and analysis with a goal of identifying high potential market segments, product categories and acquisition opportunities. Before Grainger, Lucas served as Group Director, Marketing Communications, and Director of Marketing Information for Enable LLC.
From 2002-2009, Lucas served on the Associate Board of Directors for the Northlight Theater and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Unity North Shore. Lucas graduated from the University of Memphis with a master’s degree in business administration, concentrating in marketing, finance and management.
