Past Great Women of Gaming Events

Inspired by the original Great Women of Gaming two-part feature that appeared in the March and April 2005 issues of Casino Enterprise Management Magazine, the Great Women of Gaming Conference was developed specifically for female executives working in the gaming industry today.

The Great Women of Gaming Conference series focuses on the issues that women face when working in a male-dominated industry: mentoring, inspiration and life balance; gaming business trends from a woman’s perspective; and financial management and independence.

As expected of any Casino Enterprise Management event, the speakers and session leaders at Great Women of Gaming Conferences are among the best and brightest in the industry, including past presenters E.D. Hill, Host of Fox & Friends, Fox News Channel; Ursula Conway, CIO, Ameristar Casinos; Kathleen McLaughlin-Harris, Managing Director, Global Slot Marketing and Operations, Las Vegas Sands; Punam Mathur, Senior Vice President of Corporate Diversity and Community Affairs, MGM Mirage; and Virgina McDowell, President and COO, Isle of Capri Casinos.

Unfortunately, as the global economy worsens and the gaming industry continues to brace itself in these recessionary times, Casino Enterprise Management has decided to honor this year’s Great Women of Gaming in a manner that is inclusive and affordable to all. In lieu of hosting a Great Women of Gaming conference this year, Casino Enterprise Management will instead recognize the Great Women of Gaming 2009 in the pages of our magazine.
