Sheila Morago is the executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association. She is a member of the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona. From 1998 to 2001, Morago was the director of public relations for the National Indian Gaming Association, based in Washington, D.C. She moved back to Arizona in 2001 to serve as the tribal liaison for Arizonans for Fair Gaming & Indian Self Reliance, the Prop 202 campaign. Morago began her career in tribal gaming in 1994 when she was appointed director of marketing for the Gila River Casinos.
