Claudia R. Winkler is the president and managing director of G.H.I. Solutions, a professional services organization that provides a wide variety of information technology related services to domestic and international commercial and Native American gaming and hospitality organizations. Her key competencies are strategic information technology planning, project management for system selection and implementation, merger and acquisition due diligence, development and implementation of customer relationship management strategies, information technology assessments, vendor management, software specification development and information technology budget and human resource planning.

As an expert across multiple technology areas and business functions, she makes recommendations regarding technology, architectural and application development issues. She has been responsible for developing the selection criteria for major system decisions as well as identifying competent vendors. Winkler has directed the development and deployment of custom and packaged software and business intelligence solutions on a variety of platforms including Microsoft Windows and iSeries /AS 400 environments.

Winkler has served as a games and technology track leader for the annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E). She was honored as one of the members of the inaugural class of the Great Women of Gaming by Casino Enterprise Management in 2005. She has written technology columns for major industry publications including Casino Enterprise Management. She is an instructor at the University of Nevada, Reno College for the Gaming Management Series. She is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences including G2E, the G2E Institute and NIGA. Winkler is an honors graduate from Penn State University.
