Cath Burns joined Bally Technologies in 2006 to establish the company’s game and systems sales, service and operations presence in the Asia Pacific Region based in Macau. Burns has built a team to grow and support both the games and systems business in Macau, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos. This year will see a further expansion of Bally’s business into Singapore and Australia.

Prior to joining Bally, Burns held leadership positions at Video Lottery Consultants (VLC), a global gaming technology company, ending her tenure as general manager for the company’s Australia and New Zealand business. Previously, she also held business development and account-management positions with IBM Australia, spearheading business development and marketing strategies for IBM’s gaming-industry clients. During her tenure with IBM, she received the Asia-Pacific Marketing Excellence Award, the Asia-Pacific Region Marketing Award, and was a member of IBM’s “100% Club”. Burns also was named a Proven Leader in the 2008 Great Women of Gaming Awards.
