The GWG Conference

• The Conference is an offshoot of the Great Women of Gaming articles, printed in Casino Enterprise Management issues in March and April 2004.
• This second annual Great Women of Gaming Conference has been developed specifically for women executives working in gaming today.
• Based on a survey of female readership of Casino Enterprise Management, the Conference will focus on four key areas named by those surveyed as most relevant:1. Financial Management & Independence for Women, 2. Mentoring, Inspiration & Life Balance, 3. Issues Facing Women in a Male-Dominated Industry, and 4. Gaming Business Trends — A Women’s Perspective.
• The speakers and presenters are some of the best and brightest women working in the gaming industry today.

The Great Women of Gaming Awards — an Annual Event

• Anyone who has worked with a woman executive in the gaming industry may nominate a woman currently holding a position of director or above in a gaming company. Complete details are available at the “To Nominate” page of this website.
• The Great Women of Gaming Nominations Review Committee consists of top executives working in gaming today. They will review the nominations for a group of finalists and determine the award recipients.
• Ten award recipients will be honored at the first annual Great Women of Gaming Awards Ceremony & Gala on Monday, April 7, 2008.
